Yunk Parker has been the top player at Wheeler County for the last few years in terms of being a playmaker. He can make a cut on a dime, and is deceptive in his fakes. He runs with low pad level and breaks a fair amount just from playing low. The senior has a solid feel for the game, and that’s one reason why he’s been their QB the last few seasons. At the next level he figures to be a slot receiver or cornerback. He has a good feel at reading a defender and throwing him off with a few fakes so they take terrible tackling angles. He can lay the wood too, and honestly it looks like Parker can play at a high level despite his slight frame. His high football IQ makes us believe that a transition to cornerback could be seamless.
