Lampkin is extremely under the radar right now but is one of the more foolproof P5 caliber defenders in the state with less than 5 offers. Lampkin has legit length and does a very good job of setting the edge. He has good quickness and closes well on the ball carrier showing quick feet allowing him to adjust to the ball carrier quickly. He also got some reps at QB, but his potential really lies at OLB. Lampkin needs more work with his 1 v 1 tackling, and dropping his hips before making his attempt. There is a ton of upside here, and definitely think that more P5 programs will offer over the course of his recruitment.
