Copenhaver has been tearing it up this season at TE and his long running stride allows for a lot of big plays for a TE. He’s got a very athletic burst once the ball is in his hands. Needs to get stronger though, and be tougher getting yardage after contact. Copenhaver has a nice frame to add weight, and should be over 230 by the time he is playing in college. The 2020 recruit uses his stiff arm well, and keeps defenders at bay from making a tackle. Only one other TE in Georgia has been as productive as Copenhaver, and just watching him run in the open field on these reverse plays they do with him it’s clear he’s an FBS football player. In so many cases he’s just too far upfield away from the defense, but shows excellent hands making the catch in traffic at the same time.
