Pinkney is more of a SS at the next level, but he shows pretty solid length and speed. He is very aggressive, and does a nice job of using his quickness to slip into the backfield. His pursuit angles need some work. When he has his target lined up though he can really bury them. I would like to see the 2019 recruit continue to show more progress in both man and zone coverage. He could be a lot closer to 200 pounds a year from now, and I think that should get him DII looks for sure.
