Griffin is an all out hustle player and shows really good length getting off blocks and a long athletic running stride that can chase down backs on the edge. He has a slight frame right now, but you really got to like the how physical he is, especially for a sophomore. His speed when coupled with his hustle really adds an element to his game where you can start to slide him around at both safety and linebacker. Griffin is definitely a player to watch out for this fall, his older brother was a solid player at Hapeville, and looking at his sophomore film, you can see he has even more upside.
