Blade figures to be a much bigger part of the Monroe Area offensive attack with way over 3k yards rushing graduating last fall. He picks up yardage pretty quickly, shows a powerful lower body. Nice job accelerating thru the hole. Blade has pretty quick feet moving across the LOS. The 2020 recruit just looks like a running back, his compact body type suggest he can both take the ball between the tackles but also out on the perimeter too. Moves his feet well thru contact, but doesn’t always show the best balance. Blade seems to fall forward more times than not. He could emerge as one of the better backs in 3-A, there is certainly a vacuum for the Monroe Area rushing attack. Right now he’s in a FCS-D2 gray area, but with a big season more D1’s should come calling.
