What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
Able to play multiple positions. Last year I played QB for the 9th grade team and RB for the JV. This spring I played QB and WR and should see playing time at WR on varsity this season. I have a good knowledge of the game and am a fast learner.
Mason is player that has not made the varsity, but let me tell you right now, the 2019 recruit will have a solid senior year no doubt. He’s a really good athlete and can change directions really well. Always been impressed with his route running, and looks like he has continued TO add weight. For the 2018 season he has found himself on the defensive side of the football playing sort of a nickle/hybrid type of position. He’s been a turnover magnet creating several pick six’s while also blocking a punt too. It’s been a good year with the regularity that Mason has found himself near the football, and he’s got several sacks and tackles for loss. His background as a receiver seems to have helped with pass coverage, and you are seeing Mason get a handful of PBU’s. Agility and ability to accelerate so quickly makes Mason such an impressive impact player for Lee Co.
