Beckton has a good looking frame and does a great of stepping up into quickly the ball carrier and laying him out. He does a good job of timing his breakups and we saw him mark some legit 3 star receivers. Beckton tackling is extremely sound, and he just seems to have a good feel for the game, snuffs out trick plays quickly. He will have to do some work in the weight room but really like the 2019 safety prospect and think he’ll be receiving FBS interest during his recruitment. He played SS this year due to his excellent tackling. The effort that he plays with can make a big difference in the run game, and you see him make solo tackles against top rated recruit in some cases. I really like the leverage he plays with getting off blocks, and he would be very effective stopping screens and plays out in the flat in general.
