Thornton has nice speed, and can get up field in a hurry. He has light feet, and steps out of a few tackles in his film. He’s a good option football player, he does a nice job of setting his blocks with a nice hesitation move. The senior has solid size, and I think he can get to about 200 pounds at the next level, so that makes him a pretty big slot at the next level. He shows a ton of urgency when blocking, and gets to the 2nd level quickly and has strong hands, and good leg drive while engaged. He has decent ball skills, but his vertical seems to be lacking. Thornton seems to be good at a lot of things, but not elite at anything.
