Tolbert has the size and athleticism to play linebacker at the FBS level. He is an explosive football player who shows good instincts and gets downhill on run plays. He has a long frame, and a penchant at getting his hands on the football either in the run or pass. Tolbert scrapes off blocks and shows enough speed to get out to the sideline. I like his agility more than anything, and he shows the ability to change direction and looks to have light feet in pass coverage. Tolbert is a big body, and has the potential to also grow into a pass-rusher at the next level. We could see him growing to be 240 and at 6’4″ should make him a coveted prospect these final few weeks.
