Weeks has gained 20 lbs. over the last year, and over that time earned a lot of college interest. The P5 interest really happened over the fall of 2019 where his team was one of the best teams in 4-A at the same time. Weeks has played in the All-Star game circuit and for a player weighing over 200 lbs., he can flat out move. Weeks reminds me a good bit of David Curry from Buford a few years back, and it really took him a while to bulk up. Weeks does very good pursuit angles and jumps the play quickly getting into the backfield. Does a very good job playing out on the edge. Reads the ball carrier well, moves feet well laterally and gauges his tackles attempts with patience. He settles into his tackles and doesn’t over pursue much. Plays the edge very well and pushes ball carrier back into pursuit. Just a very smart football player and if I were to guess, will most likely be the starting QB in 2020 for Oconee, so that could be interesting development to watch for.
