My physical dominance and ability to cover distance in a hurry. I’m a playmaker who forces turnovers in all aspects of the game
Shelton is an outstanding tackler out in open space, and does a great job of squaring up on the ball carrier. He has a really good feel for the game, and seems to make a lot of intangible plays, ripping out fumbles and blocking field goals. Made a few big goal line spots last fall, all of them being massive hits. Point being is he makes plays for his team when it matters. Shelton is a good all-around safety prospect, he is powerful for his size, and think he should continue to fill out his frame. Cannot push enough how good of a tackler he is out in space. Size is a concern for Shelton, but think some of the academy schools would be interested in him for sure, especially considering his academics.
