Marshall chips the blockers pretty well and shows good hustle out to the sideline making a tackle. Nice overall leg drive at the point of attack. At 230 lbs. he does pack a punch. Marshall has good energy, and I like his instincts reading the play. Needs to work on top end acceleration and getting quicker changing directions too. Marshall is a pretty smart player for sure. Gets a good beat on the play early. Takes proper pursuit angles, but definitely needs to work on getting quicker. Would like to see him settle into his tackles more too. Marshall does a good job of hitting, but he can look out of control at times making an open field tackle leading up to the physical contact. Needs to work on hip strength and flexibility. He is set for a solid All-Region caliber season here in 2020.
