Thornburg was one of the leading tacklers in his classification. He closes on the ball carrier like a crazy-man and gets after each play like it his last. Hyperbole aside, Thornburg is great at meeting the ball carrier in the box. He is very good at running with his pad lateral to the LOS. The 2020 recruit takes good pursuit angles, his quick feet allows for him to readjust on the fly. Need to see him in a camp against faster RB’s to be honest. Must gain another 20 lbs over the next year. Won’t be easy for the slight framed LB.
