My talents and my actions inside the class room shows the college coaches that I’m someone who could be a big help and a attribute to the team hopefully I get recruited by someone – I pray I do.
Jonesboro had a very good defense this year and you can see Balkcom was a big contributor. He is a high-motor linebacker with good speed and shed blocks to help support the run. He could play a hybrid SS/OLB role at the next level. Balkcom has fairly quick hips and back pedals naturally. Very sound tackler in open space.
