What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
As my coach tells me, I have a high motor and am not afraid to make a play.
Derricot plays the game with a big chip on his shoulder, and really looks to make the impact play for his team. He is tenacious getting into the backfield using his speed to come from the backside. He is all out pressure, and plays the game with a ton of urgency. They put him everywhere on defense. Defensive line, safety, and linebacker – it doesn’t’ matter for the 2019 recruit, he just goes out and makes plays. Needs to add about 10-15 pounds to his frame but think the Elbert rising senior can play a hybrid OLB/SS role at the next level. Would like to see him make more plays in coverage though.
