Johnson is a fairly athletic, stout junior defensive tackle out of Carrollton. He uses his hands pretty well, shows above average energy to the football. Does nice job anticipating the run and moving laterally on stretch plays. He played a little as a sophomore, but this year he is getting a bunch of reps. Johnson. He get a pretty good push at the point of attack, fairly nice extension with his arms, but would like to see him peak more. Johnson does a nice job tackling from behind, pulling the ball carrier back instead of pushing the pile 3-4 yards forward. Solid film from his JR year, I like how he rotates at DE and DT in the 3-4.
