Arnold has grown an inch and gained an additional 10-15 lbs over the last year. He had a solid D1 caliber QB throwing to him all year long and put the balls in the right spot, but it was the 6’3″ athlete who made the plays. First and foremost, Arnold is a big target who is able to shield off defenders, and then shows the athleticism to go up and pull down lobs deep down the field. He’s not going to burn by the defense, rather more just use his huge frame. He shows a lot upside of gaining weight and I can see the 2022 recruit getting up to 220 lbs. at the next level, maybe even more. That gives him a good bit of flexibility in where he can line up. After the catch he looks okay, but would think a player with his size would be able to break more tackles. Needs to work on driving his legs, shows on film when he is blocking even. Arnold has solid upside for sure, but for a possession receiver I would like to see him break more tackles and be a bit more powerful blocking on the perimeter.
