Jerquavion Mahone is a powerful 4 year two way starter for Manchester High School in Ga. Qua (6’3 295) is a two time All-Region selection for the Blue Devils.
Mahone is one of the most athletic lineman left available in the state of Georgia. He is very quick off the ball, moves really well laterally (background in basketball too). It’s amazing how well he can move out in space honestly. He could play either DE in a 3-4 or DT in a 4-3 at the next level. Hands are really strong, he doesn’t always get the best leverage but uses his strength to go through the lineman. Carries his weight really well, and has the frame to even continue to add weight. Mahone has all the ability to play at the FBS. Power 5 schools have started to show interest in December with a visit to Kentucky and a recent offer from Tennessee. Mahone is a late-bloomer on the recruiting scene but colleges are loving his athletic upside at the next level.
