Barnett ran for 1100 yards and beat out a 3 year starter at RB who had FBS offers. The 2020 back is a pretty physical runner who can bruise up a defense. He shows a pretty nice running stride and accelerates okay. Leg drive and fighting for extra yardage seem to be Barnett’s biggest draws. The 2020 back has a nice frame to be an every down player and should easily be over 220 lbs in college. I like how quickly he reacts to the defense, and the quick cuts he makes at the LOS. Barnett will lower his shoulder and bring the boom too. Needs to continue to work on running vision, looking for cutbacks at the 2nd level too. Definitely a bruising back.
