Lavender is a versatile player, who could play on either side at the next level. He has good vision once the ball is in his hands, and makes timely cuts. Lavender has excellent acceleration, which gives him the edge out on the perimeter, erasing any angles a defender might have. The class of 17 prospect uses that same acceleration to cover a ton of space at his FS position. He is an impactful tackler and plays with a ton of intensity – wide receivers better have their chin strap on tight! A few local schools have shown interest but no offers yet.
