Thompson has some natural fluidity to his running style. His hips react quickly to the defender and he shows a long running stride with good pad level too. Good initiator of contact, the 2020 back gets under his pads and plays the game low. He shows solid hands as a receiver. I like how he uses his blocks, and the vision he shows getting up field. Thompson is a quality football player, adding some weight would really benefit his running style, but think he shows some legit potential with the ball in his hands.
