Salas reads the play quickly and flips his hips over and sticks with the receiver on deep passes. He shows pretty quick feet, and plays press coverage right up against the receiver. Salas made some legit improvements in the last year and is doing a much better job of getting his hands on the football. His Troup film is really impressive and I really like what I’m seeing from his senior year in fact. Back pedal needs some work, doesn’t pick up his feet and not very springy in his step. Salas plays the game with a ton of swagger, and truly believes he can take on any receiver. He had to have double digit PBU’s his senior year.
