The Westlake coaches are all about Bivines, he is a headhunter out on the field and just explodes through the ball carrier with no hesitation. The all-region hybrid defender flows to the football really well and has legit closing speed. He does a nice job of engaging then scraping off the blocker and getting into the right spots to make a tackle. Bivines does need to slow things down and work on setting up his tackle more. He gets off his mark and can end up making a more desperate attempt at getting the ball carrier down. Also, would like to see him more in coverage, outside of stopping short passes out to the flat, he is almost always making a tackle on a run play. Bivines definitely has a good motor, and an attacking mindset that disrupts plays.
