What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I believe that I could make an impact at the next level because of my high football IQ and aggressiveness at the point of attack. I work hard in the weight room, on the field and in the classroom. I'm an extremely coachable player that will do whatever it takes to win.
Harden is built like a fire hydrant, and can plug up a hole, stopping a ball carrier in his tracks. He has a real feel for the game, tracks the ball carrier with good acceleration/anticipation. He will absolutely bring the wood on his tackles. He does a nice job of hitting them right in the numbers, but would like to see him sink his hips more in 1 v 1 situations. Lateral quickness is exceptionally high, and we really like that for our linebackers. Harden doesn’t get fooled much either, we see him make a handful of PBU’s on screen passes. He is also a really good lead blocker, and that’s also a position colleges should target him at. A strong junior campaign should have high-academic colleges all over him during the spring offseason. Both sophomore and junior year he averaged right around 80-90 tackles.
