Sutton is a tough tackling young cornerback who is very aggressive attacking the ball carrier. He also gets his hands on the football a good bit for a DB. He breaks quickly getting downfield. Sutton just plays the game with good urgency, and you can tell that he has a real knack at playing the game, even making an impact on offense. He just has to fill out his frame better though, being a good open field tackler will only take you so far if you weigh less than 170 lbs. Offseason heading into his senior year, and we really need to see Sutton pack on weight. He’s now at Cedar Grove high school, which is the returning 3-A champion. I really like how well the 2020 recruit pursues the football, definitely has a good feel at gauging the ball carrier and tracking well over a long distance.
