Bubba Blackburn is quickly becoming the top tight end prospect in the state of Georgia. He runs like a deer, and honestly, I don’t know if it’s fair to call him a tight end or not, but he is going to do some damage catching the football at the next level. Lob the ball up and let him do the rest. Blackburn is pretty good at squaring up his pads and utilizes his height pretty well. He could do a better job of fighting for position and using his body to shield the defender more from the pass. He’s an absolute freak getting up field though and one of the smoothest runners we have seen among 6’5″ receivers in the state in some time. He is a must offer, which a lot of schools already have.
