Washington is an extremely raw athlete who played more of an OLB role last year than anything. He has quality length and does a nice job of engaging with blockers out on the edge, pushing the ball carrier back into pursuit. He has quality instincts, times his block shed and step around well. He is a run stopper at heart but also shows decent ability in coverage. His footwork needs a ton of work. Needs to drop his hips more his back pedal. Washington looks more like a SS to us at the next level. He plays well around the LOS, and squares up well on his tackle attempts most times. Very good energy too. Washington is a good football player no doubt, and adding weight to his frame will be an absolute must in college, but think he can end up weighing around 190-200 in college.
