Thomas is another benefactor of the quick start to Riverwood’s season. He can close on a ball carrier, not just in speed but also sheer determination and will to get after the ball carrier. Thomas is relentless. He is made to be a rusher off the edge. You will see him run 30 yards in order to make a tackle in some cases. Very hard hitter from the back side. Needs to work on hip strength, getting quicker laterally. He’s going to have to be a speed-rusher, so improving his feet will be key. Really like the 2020 recruit to produce at the next level.
