Blackwood is a good looking SS/NB prospect who does his best play at around the line of scrimmage. He has good size, and we can see him being well over 200 pounds at the next level playing more of a hybrid SS/OLB type of role. He does a good job of wrapping up his tackles, and gets low on impact. Overall the 2019 recruit has good instincts, and I can see him earning solid offers down the road. Blackwood is the type of player that will have his impact felt on special teams bare minimum in college with how fast he flows to the football.
