Justin Gilbert is one of those true sleeper players you find late in the recruiting process. His weight lifting has a ways to go, but that doesn’t make a difference, he gets a nice push right at the point of attack. He looks really quick laterally speaking, which allows him to react to the read option quickly. He uses his hands pretty well, looks to have long arms that he uses to get off blocks quickly. Gilbert is the type of athlete who could be over 230 before you know it. He just needs to put in the work and we think he can be an impact pass-rusher at the next level but a redshirt year will be needed.
