Buckner has been a multi-year starter for Union Grove playing cornerback primarily but senior year also getting reps at RB. He’s got a long angular body. Doesn’t have very good tackling fundamentals (drops head, doesn’t square up always) but does go in very hard. He’s a well trained DB, reads the play and reacts quickly. Doesn’t have too many pass breakups. Speed is decent enough to land him a few blocked kicks on the year. He has really long arms too, but would like to see more PBU’s.
