Hawkins gets low, which allows him to get really good leverage on the defender. He shows a lot of urgency when pulling across the line of scrimmage. Just seems to love contact, and really finishes off his blocks leveling the defender. Hawkins has a great motor too. He blocks multiple guys in a play and will hustle down field to make blocks at the next level. He’s just beginning to develop in the weight room but his vertical jump is very promising and you explosiveness when he is getting out his stance. Really like Hawkins game, and think he can certainly play Div 1 football. He needs to get out to camps this summer and show off his quick feet in front college coaches.
