Trice has a 10.63 100M time from his sophomore year and checking out his junior film, and he def pops on film. He is definitely fast. Even with pads on he is one of the fastest players on the field. Trice has very good acceleration and closes on ball carriers out in the flat quickly. He’s a solid tackler, but needs to work on moving laterally with the ball carrier better as he takes some bad pursuit angles at time. Coverage looks pretty solid though and does a very good job of reaching around the receiver to break up the pass. Need to see more film of him in coverage though and for a player with elite speed, you would think he would have more film of him returning kicks. He’s the type of recruit that could really explode this offseason, especially if he tests out well at camps.
