Slocum came onto the scene this year and quickly became a talked about recruit in the middle Georgia area with several people from the area contacting us about him. No doubt, just watching him move around and play the game the upside is obvious. We see a lot of Jelani Woods in his game from Cedar Grove if anyone remembers him from two classes back but an even better runner and already holds more weight. His footwork is a little raw, and doesn’t always set his feet when he throws nor does he put the correct trajectory on the pass. At the same time, he can put the ball on a line and appears to have a laser attached to his right shoulder. Slocum is very elusive for his size, he makes subtle movements to throw defenders off. His potential is obvious, and certainly will play at the FBS level.
