Grier showed flashes as a sophomore at Arabia Mtn, and junior year at Cedar Grove he has continues to impress. First that stands out about Grier is tackling in the open field. Sometimes he relies too much on his arms, but more times than note he does a nice job of meeting the ball carrier at the midsection and wrapping around the legs. Pass coverage is a little bit more of a question, but from the limited film, he does a nice job of sticking with the receiver in man coverage. Grier has some potential at CB, I would like to see him get some reps there eventually and to continue to work on his footwork in pass coverage. His tackling is a definite plus, which could push him over the top with FBS interest alone.
