What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?
I work hard on and off the field. I put school first and football second. My goal is to maintain a 3.5 and above for my GPA. My teachers always tell me how respectful I am. I understand it takes a lot of hard work to get to the next level and I train everyday to get myself there.
Burton spent a year at IMG after his excellent freshman year at Hapeville and is now at Marietta where he is pairing up with one of the top QB’s in the country. Burton has been on the move for sure, but seems like he has settled down into playing at Marietta now. Burton reads the pass really well and does a good job of shielding the defender away so they cannot make a play. He is a smooth runner and effortless turns the corner on fast defensive backs. Burton shows some of the best ball skills we have seen in the last 4-5 years scouting, considering his size, it’s amazing how he pulls down catches against bigger defensive backs.
