Johnson is a big athlete at 6’2″, and even got snaps at QB this year when their starter was out for most of the season. Johnson changes directions very well and is a downfield athlete. Has an excellent frame to add weight. Looks like a FS or SS at the next level. Tackling could be better though, leads with his head at times. Upside is definitely there, Johnson could end up around 220, and his coverage skills is pretty good for a safety prospect. Interesting skill set, and will need to sharpen up on tackling a little more, but hard to argue with his overall upside as a P5 caliber player. Johnson’s size, and pure athleticism puts him in the top 50 players in the state, and has the potential to be an All-Conference caliber player at the college level.
