Hector definitely has a long athletic frame that pops on film. He has a long running stride. Shows good ball skills going up for contested jump ball passes nabbing at least one last fall, and getting his hands on a few more. Hector has solid acceleration and does a pretty good job of jumping a pass. Uses hands well in press coverage, looks like length is legit and he utilizes that well in coverage knocking the receiver off his route within the first 5 yards. Hector needs to improve tackling, and use his arms way too much. Needs to slide his feet in coverage instead of hopping. Want to see more consistency hustling after the ball carrier. Hector is a boundary corner at the next level, and his frame should certainly grab the attention of D1 programs.
