Poke has legit sprinter’s like speed and can flat out break on a pass like a natural. He shows really good hip rotation, which allows him to change directions really well. His top end speed is really impressive, shows a great running stride. His outstanding acceleration allows him to make plays across the field that he has no business making. Poke plays FS primarily for Dutchtown, but heading into this fall he seems like a natural to move over to cornerback. The only reason to not slide him over is due to his excellent tackling that he shows. He has a slight frame, so that only strengthens our opinion that he will have to play CB at the next level but given his impressive quickness he should transition just fine. With that said, more PBU’s could certainly help his cause in landing more FBS offers.
