Evans is a big athlete who was the starter for almost the entire season for Buford. The lefty signal-caller has a strong lower base and a solid arm. He looks the part, but needs to be more consistent with his short to intermediate passes. A lot of his biggest plays comes off play fakes, which he does a very good job of selling. Places the ball pretty well on his hip, could be more deceptive but better than your average HS QB for sure. Evans goes into SR year with some questions as a college QB, that’s just a fact, but at 6’4″ and nearly 220 lbs., he is also a good candidate on becoming a TE. If I were an FBS program, I would definitely be heavily interested in Evans potential at receiver. This upcoming season will be make or break for Evans in terms of being a legit FBS QB recruit or not.
