Weitcamp fires through the gaps throwing his body around with bad intentions. He’s a really powerful backer, which allows him to take on lineman, get off the block and make the stop. Weitkamp explodes through his hips when tackling and does a great job of driving the ball carrier backwards to ensure no additional yardage is gained. Etowah senior is as tough as they come and we also like his potential as a lead blocker at the next level, one of his opening plays on his highlight reel he unloads on a coverage player in kickoffs. He would make a great special teams player at the next level right off the bat.
