King had 72 tackles last season on the improved LFO squad that has been getting better each year it seems. He shows quality athletic upside and also has a background in basketball. King needs to fight for the football more, he needs square up his pads quicker and try to explode up for the football. He shows really good acceleration at safety, and makes really nice breaks in front of the pass. He’s a definitely a better fit on defense. Pretty good at taking on blocks. Open field tackling is solid, gets low and takes out ball carriers feet. Does a good job dropping hips before his attempts but needs to wrap up more consistently. Getting more reps on offense this year at receiver, really tough athlete to get down who fights for extra yardage.
