I’m a hard worker, leader, and competitor. I know where to go and don’t miss tackles. I do what it takes to win.
Pehrson was an all-county performer with 65 tackles, 8 tackles for loss and 3 interceptions on the year. What I like about Pehrson is his football IQ. He does a great job playing within the framework of his defense, does a great job with his reads, and finds himself in the right place more times than not. He is a true football player who can be effective against the run or pass. The 2019 recruit is a flat out playmaker, and will do everything in his power to stop the play before it starts. He innate ability to read the play gives him FBS potential no doubt, and I think if Pehrson shows he can put on the weight without losing his speed, then he should get his chance to play at a high level. He is a complete student-athlete.
