What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Speed, Elusiveness

Getting the ball into Imani Davis’ hands can really create some excitement. He does blow by defenders, but shows a very elusive step to his game, and outstanding change of direction where he loses very little speed. Davis is the type of player that seeming glides through a cut. He is just flat out hard to bring down in tight places, and I really like the cut backs he makes against the grain. Davis is a natural at using his blocks, and is a dangerous back on the perimeter. Has a good feel of when to lower his shoulder and get tough yards, but sometimes tries to do too much. He’s got very good balance bouncing off tackles even though he is typically lighter than the defender. I’m extremely impressed by Davis, he seems like one of the better slot backs in the class of 2020. He cruised by 1000 yards his senior year and split snaps with some talented backs behind him. The 2020 recruit has excellent speed, just watch him cover ground on a KO where he is blocking on a pooch kick. Definitely looks faster than last year even.
