Blakenship is an extremely versatile player that could play a number of positions in college, but one thing is for certain, the rising senior carries the ball with authority. He does a great job of reading his blocks, and makes solid cuts to throw the defender off balance. Running in between the tackles seems to be second nature for Blakenship and we are extremely impressed with how he fights for yards while maintaining excellent balance. The Telfair Co. student-athlete was the state runner-up as a wrestler and also plays SS on the baseball team.  He is the only under 200 pound athlete we have seen with a reported 600 pound squat max.
