Lowndes linebacker is a powerful body that shows a ton of urgency getting out to the sideline or making a play in the backfield either. His speed is solid, it’s really his football IQ that makes Wells such a quick-reactor to the play to go along with an awesome motor. I’m pretty big on Wells ability to make plays in pass coverage, it seems that a lot of his contributions in 2018 came during passing downs. Tackling is pretty solid, he measures up the ball carrier and does a good job of meeting the ball carrier low, but has a tendency to pop up after contact, so he does lose some of his leverage at times. Curious to see how Wells does this fall.
