The 2020 WR is a big target at WR, and can just flat out destroy a defensive back whether he is running over them or blocking. Mayes is a good looking athlete with the ability to high-point the football. He’s done that several times this year so far. I think a lot of colleges will be interested in him at h-back right now. He fights hard for yards after contact, and just has that physical approach to the game, which makes you wonder why he is not getting reps at DE – like his brother. Mayes will get a lot of college interest. I would like to see him at a college camp running more routes before a G5 school offers, but I got a feeling he will have an assortment of mid-majors after him either way well beforehand. The big pass-catcher really goes up and attacks the football when he high-points it. Would like to see him get some TE reps even.
