Linley is a compact defensive back who really drives into the ball carrier on tackles. He plays low, and very fast, which allows him to tackle much bigger players than him. Cannot express how consistent he is as a tackler, really does a great job of wrapping – he made a nice 1v1 against Justin Fields on film. Also, he shows nice breakup skills on deep balls, which was admittidly a concern when looking at his height and weight. Linley lacks height needed no doubt, but think his versatility and excellent open field tackling should attract a lot of local colleges at various levels of play. Of note, he is also a wrestler, which continues our theory that wrestler are better tacklers.
