Rainge has grown a good bit from summer of 2020 to now this fall of 2021. The 5’11”-6′ safety prospect still has room to add weight too, and we think he can get over 190-200 at the college level in the right weight lifting program. Enough prognostications on his growth, because the 2022 athlete can really play the game too. He has good instincts. Gets downhill and really attacks the offense. Definitely more of a SS at the next level. Good reactions reading the play and has the acceleration to break on a pass and get the interception. Definitely like how he looks in coverage in general, getting solid depth dropping back and just a natural at reading the QB’s eyes. Tackling in the open field is strong. Good body composition, needs to just continue to work in the weight room. WE are really big on Rainge’s ability to play the game. He is always around the football, making some bizarre plays that you would never expect, but in the 2021 season he has multiple touchdowns and doesn’t play offense, so that says a lot about his hustle and feel for reading the action on the field.
